Yesterday we held the first race of our Summer Series at Karaka which included an overwhelming turn out, lovely weather and some great racing – what a treat!
Each grade showed tight competition, the fastest riders all finishing at times that were mere seconds or even milliseconds apart. The Top 5 of Grade A were neck and neck, exhibiting professional and exemplary cycling to look up to. Max Allan achieved 1st place with a time of 01:52:41. It was a similar case for Grade B to E, winners James Fearon with a time of 02:01:58, Stuart Prill with a time of 01:42:44, Franzis Bulaong with a time of 01:16:43 and Robert Trust with a time of 01:30:29 taking the top spots for their category. In the Social grade, Colin Craigie achieved a time of 01:24:39.
A reminder that you can check out the full results for this race as well as the upcoming Summer Series races when they come about here.
This time around, the paid album for the race will be available first and the free album will be released later in the week so keep your eyes peeled for that. All profits from paid photo purchases go towards our photographer Ethan Verner and the club. ![]()
Thanks once again to everyone involved from riders to committee staff for a great race day.
