Bruce Kent Memorial Cup Race Summary

Yesterday’s Bruce Kent Memorial Handicap Race was a good one! Congratulations to rider Angus Dickinson who despite only being just shy of 15 was the 1st CMC rider at Bruce Kent Memorial and finished 2nd overall which is a huge feat.

Speaking of young age, Levi Mitchell, the youngest rider who is just 6 months younger than Angus, was very happy to beat his father Tony in the sprint for the finish line, making for a fun family outing.

Additionally, congratulations to Tim Spicer who was 2nd CMC rider and was 3rd overall. Tim rode at the very first Bruce Kent Memorial Handicap during his school days.

Both Angus and Tim had a 10 minute start over the scratch riders.

Thank you to our volunteers Ian, Mike, Debbie, Murray, Stuart, Dai and Louis as well as all handicappers for helping make the race the very best it could be. Results will be posted on our website, under the Race Results page, at a later date.
