The Summer Series Championship is a 4-race series for individual riders, run from January 17th to March 1st whereby champions will be crowned accumulating the most points across the series.
We’ve added two new courses, Coatesville and Kumeu and if you enter all 4-races up front, there’s a $20 discount.

Points System
Points will be awarded at each race as follows, and the riders of each grade with the most points at the end of the series will be crowned Summer Championship winners!

Women’s Points: Male/Female riders will be riding in the same grades simultaneously, with female riders accruing points as it was a women’s only grade.
Grades & Estimated Speeds
To assist with selecting the correct grade below are the estimated speeds of each grade which we’re based off the Super City Team Championship results from Race 2 and Race 5 of the series
A Grade – 40 km/h and above.
B Grade – 37 km/h to 40 km/h
C Grade – 33 km/h to 36 km/h
D Grade – 29 km/h to 32 km/h
E Grade – 25 km/h to 28 km/h
Social grade – below 25 km/h
Under-19 riders must be aged over 13 years of age & 19 or less by 31 Dec 2026.
- Riders who are turning 15 or over this year can ride in the Under-19 Grade or in Grades A to E.
- 13- and 14-year-olds should ride in the U-19 grade.
*If you haven’t raced before or are unsure which grade to enter a good starting point is to add 3-4 km/h to your normal fast ride speed due to the bunch dynamics of a race.
