On the 26th of April, we will be holding the 2025 Gallipoli Cup which you can sign up for here. In the lead up to the big day, learn a little about the major sponsor helping run the event, GMC Cycling, from owner Gordon McCauley:

GMC (Get Me Cycling) is owned by locals Gordon McCauley and Jarrod Harris and is situated in Silverdale and run by Gordon McCauley himself.
GMC stocks Trek and Sinch and a great selection of more boutique bike brands, they also carry a pretty impressive hand-selected range of gear that every cyclist needs with leading brands like Bontrager, Rapha, Muc-Off, Pure, Shimano, Maxxis and Vittoria to name but a few.
At GMC we pride ourselves on our work-shop and we’re happy to service or repair any brand.
We are blessed to have a super busy workshop and as such bookings are essential, we are unable to accept walk-in repairs.
Besides our store we also coach racing cyclists and sponsor multiple teams and events.

Gordon says “I’ve been racing now for 37 years with the last 20 years calling Auckland home. Most of you know my history, but the bottom line is I love road cycling, it’s given me so much and when I can I like to give back. Hence when CMC approached GMC Cycling with the idea of getting the Gallipoli Cup back to the top of the ‘cycling food chain’ where it belongs I jumped at the chance. The Gallipoli Cup is one of those iconic Kiwi races that oozes history and that every Kiwi rider should aspire to have their name on. I’ll be back again this year to try and add my name for a second time!”
