On Saturday, we had a blast with the Auckland and CMC ITT champs!
There was a 1 hour delay to start off racing as there was Waikato fog rolling in as we arrived, keeping visibility low. Racing started with the 16km riders. Penny Pawson (WM5) was the fastest woman. Alex Botha (MU17) was the fastest man and Alex was also the only rider to break 22 minutes.
After a short break to allow traffic management to shift the turn cones, the 24 km riders headed away. The fastest woman was Ava Maddison (FSenior) and Rob Scarlett (MM3) the fastest man. Rob was the only rider to break 30 minutes.
We welcomed a number of riders from Hamilton and Te Awamutu and also the other Auckland Club FMWC. Thanks to everyone for a great turnout.
