Day 2 of Age Group Nationals at Cambridge was filled to the brim with CMC excellence too, with many of yesterday’s familiar faces making a return to the podium, collecting more medals.
Younger riders made sure to show out with Alex Botha in the U17 Boys category winning 1st place while Levi Gear got 2nd. For U15 Girls, Steph Grainger took 2nd. In U17 Girls we had both Sophie Archer and Maddie Bell taking 1st and 2nd respectively.

For Men’s Masters 9, Tinsley Janes got 3rd and Claudia Weidekamm won 1st for Women’s Masters 4. Claudia also won ITT though unfortunately we don’t have a podium shot.

Marcus Hilder took the 3rd place spot in the Men’s Open. Penny Pawson achieved 1st in Women’s Masters 5.

Jo O’Sullivan got 3rd in Women’s Masters 6. In the B-VIPara category, Ivy Wickens achieved 1st and Denise Claxton also won 1st in Women’s Masters 9.

A big congratulations once again to all CMC riders who have participated. Now, onto day 3! Lastly, enjoy some action shots taken during the races of the day:
