Today was the first day of Age Group Nationals at Cambridge and CMC have already garnered great achievements! Congratulations to all CMC riders who took part today and will keep the ball rolling in the next coming days.
For the Men’s Masters 5 we had a CMC clean sweep with Mark Whyman placing 1st, Daryl Soljan 2nd and Tim Pawson 3rd.
In Para Women B.Vis, we had Ivy Wickens place 2nd. Jane Powell got 2nd in Women’s Masters 8 and Tinsley Janes got 2nd in Men’s Masters 9.
We also had many 1st placers today! Andrew Morrissey in Men’s Masters 7, Steph Grainger in U15 Girls and Alex Botha in U17 Boys alongside Jamie Henderson achieving 3rd in the same category.
Additionally, we have a celebratory pic of medal winners over 16km with Jane Powell, Steph Grainger, Andrew Morrisey, Alex Botha, Jamie Henderson and Tinsley Janes.
For associate members, we had Penny Pawson achieve 1st place in Women’s Masters 5 and Sophie Archer and Willow Pointon-Greenwood respectively achieve 2nd and 3rd in U17 Girls.
